MGA Technologies History

MGA Technologies started as a mechanical design office for key accounts of Lyon area, with headquarters in the Lyon Vaise area in France. Automated machine tools designed and built by MGA were for key regional pharmaceutical companies, consumer goods companies and the packaging industry.

At the end of 1980s, MGA Technologies invested in a workshop in Limonest then in 1993 built its Assembly Hall in Lissieu, 10 minutes northwest of Lyon, close to the A6 motorway. This plant allows execution of special custom machines and turnkey equipment in a specialist environment for clean design machines. A team of automation engineers and roboticians was recruited and then reinforced to produce increasingly higher performance equipment.

In constant development since its launch, MGA Technologies was taken over in 2010 by Hervé de Malliard. The result was a focus on international markets,  pharmaceutical, biotech and medical industries and also mechanical and electrical industries necessitating assembly and control equipment in clean environments. The team is getting stronger in mecatronics and  robotics and proposes services upstream and downstream of projects.
